Hospice Volunteers: The Most Valuable TLC Team Members
The hospice volunteer is the most valuable member of the Transitions LifeCare Team. Our volunteers are critical members of the hospice care team, which helps adults and children focus on their quality of life when dealing with serious illness, grief, and loss. Hospice volunteers come from all walks of life, ranging in age from teenagers to seasoned adults. Whether you work directly with patients and families or volunteer in many other ways, you’ll make a difference in someone’s life.
Volunteer with Transitions LifeCare Today
There are numerous hospice volunteer opportunities throughout Tulsa and the surrounding area with Transitions LifeCare. We also schools and education to make hospice volunteering a part of their educational experience. TLC welcomes students looking for volunteer hours. We encourage Veteran-to-veteran volunteers for our patients and families. Some volunteer opportunities include:

Setting Volunteer Expectations
Assignments are thoroughly discussed and planned with each volunteer, ensuring the right fit for the volunteer and Transitions Lifecare. Assignments are dynamic and can change with the volunteer’s and TLC’s needs and desires. The goal is to place the right volunteer into the correct assignment so that the volunteer experience is gratifying and appreciated, positively impacting the community.
